Issue 3 – Ruby Web Frameworks: A Dive into Waves

Thank you Carlo for an awesome introduction to Waves.

I should clarify a couple of things. First, please check the Web site for updated instructions and tutorials, since the framework has been rapidly evolving. In particular, the current gem on RubyForge, as of this writing, is no longer compatible with the latest version of Rack. However, edge waves is up-to-date and we will have a new stable release very soon.

Second, a really cool new dimension to Waves is that we now use Hoshi and Cssy as the default way to construct views. Once you start working using normal Ruby classes and modules to create views, you’ll never go back.
